Responsible for 3D modeling and detailing of PET Preform molds, closure injection molds, and hot runner geometries. Expert knowledge of SolidWorks, NX, and MoldFlow analysis required.
Generate high-efficiency toolpaths for CNC Vertical Machining Centers (VMC) and Turning Centers using Mastercam or Powermill. Familiarity with Fanuc, Siemens, or Heidenhain control loops.
Conduct 3D dimensional inspections on newly qualified molds and precision machine parts using CMM machines and profile projectors. Ability to interpret GDT symbols and write QA inspection logs.
Set up blocks, fixtures, cutters, and tools on high-speed industrial systems & equipment. Execute programmed codes, monitor cutting parameters, and inspect final part dimensions against tolerances.
